This project was challenging for me to do step by step without instructions. I tried to use previous assignments to help me build my website. I had trouble sizing my photos and knowing how to get my css file linked. I learned to organize my files and folders better because of this project. My biggest problem is having a windows laptop and learning on a macbook and going back to my personal laptop. I really enjoyed linking the photos and getting to play around with backgrounds and colors. This project helped me learn alot about html and using my resources to help me!
Project Three was by far by favorite and the easiest of all projects so far. This commerce website was much more challenging than the content site, but allowed much more creativity. I was able to create a beautiful flower shop that featured extravagant bouquets, as well as share tips and tricks to keep the flowers alive longer. The hardest part of this project was navigating a new theme that had a different setup and seeing how the pages were created for me. My favorite part was picking out my favorite bouquets and assortments and make my page aesthetically pleasing, with the help of a modern sleek theme.
The second part of Project Three was the easiest of the two and I had little to no issues with this site...shocking I know. The content site allowed me to learn how to edit and put blocks, images, use the media gallery, and do mamy other things on Wordpress. I loved how easy Wordpress was to navigate and learn. I used a theme that allowed lots of images which worked very well with my content site. I made a site about the top 12 female athletes which was extremely fun and interesting to me. I used custom css to add color to my blocks and played around with themes until I found what fit my aesthetic I was going for. I am a huge fan of Wordpress and am extremely proud of myself for overcoming any issues and resolving them myself for this site and learning quickly and efficiently how to work Wordpress.
